The client had a web-based video aggregator application with the projected user return rate to be very low. Though the idea was highly innovative, the product was not great enough to retain the target customer. Digiryte took this project on very tight timelines considering the client's stand at going live within weeks.
Innovations are always respected at Digiryte. When the product of the client fell back in solving the targeted problem, firstly our experts analysed the user flow report to get deep insights on the issue.
Challenge was to zero down at the right metric that directly indicates the reason for high bounce rate. This was achieved through Google analytics and other advanced analytical tools. The accessibility, number of new users and their frequency of visits were considered to be few of the right metrics to be prioritized.
It was then found that there was no element of habit-forming in the product. With deep empathy for the user, we adopted the design thinking methodology to address the issue and defined a whole new business model for the product. This was done by focusing on one particular problem and embedding the user engagement elements within the product. Our expert designers analysed the user behaviour and redesigned the UI/UX with the business goals under consideration.
The solution also paved the way to suffice scalability and flexibility to suffice the larger user base in future.
Through this iteration, the session rate of beta phase users is increasing drastically and the user return rate is at its all-time high now. Exact stats will be updated here shortly.
